دعاء المريض الذي يئس من حياته
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me and join me with the highest companions.
جَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ يُدْخِلُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الْمَاءِ فَيَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ، وَيَقُولُ: لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ إِنَّ لِلْمَوْتِ سَكَرَاتٍ.
As his death approached, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would dip his hands in water, wipe his face with them and say: “There is no god worthy of worship but Allah; death has its agonies indeed.”
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ.
There is no god worthy of worship but Allah, and Allah is the greatest. There is no god worthy of worship but Allah, alone. There is no god worthy of worship but Allah, alone, without partner. There is no god worthy of worship but Allah; His is the dominion and His is the praise. There is no god worthy of worship but Allah, and there is no power and no might except with Allah.
